We are enthusiastic partners in Bideford’s Arts, Culture and Heritage Group (a subgroup of Bideford Regeneration Board). We’ve been having regular meetings with around 25 other individuals and organisations. These have enabled us to learn more about other artists, heritage specialists and community makers living and working in Bideford. And we have started to explore how we can work together. Our first step was to make a group appearance at Bideford Fair, an event run by Lucy Lowe and Bideford Town Council on 8th June.
This included activities from Red Herring (sharing A Trip To the Sea audio journey and making and playing with Paper Boats with our Admirals) Circus Artist Em Puddy with Pole Affinity Aerial Dance, SS Freshspring, Burton Art Gallery, Ace Holds the Space, Art Makers, Bideford Film Society and hosting by Rose Young French.
