Exciting news! We’re part of a ground-breaking, national programme of events Green Space Dark Skies which is happening in extraordinary outdoor sites across the UK. We’ll be leading on the event happening in the Exmoor National Park on 28th May. 500+ people will gather in a (currently) secret location at twilight. These people will become Lumenators, carrying specially designed and remote controlled lanterns as they move, cycle, dance and sing for a one-off film shoot. We’ll celebrate the countryside and everyone’s right to explore it! Why not join us? Green Space Dark Skies is one of 10 major projects commissioned as part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK, a ground-breaking UK-wide celebration of creativity in 2022. Led by outdoor arts pioneers Walk the Plank, Green Space Dark Skies takes place from April to September. Over six months, thousands of people will become Lumenators, carrying low-impact lights specially designed by Siemens to be sensitive to the night-time environment, at up to 20 different locations. There, we will create art outdoors, recorded by film and photography. |
